Our Treasurer is Deputy Kimberly Sutton, of the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department. Kimberly grew up in Redlands, CA and is a graduate of Redlands High School, where she was a cheerleader and a member of the track team. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. After graduating from college, Kimberly became a program director for a non-profit working with at-risk youth. While in this capacity, she became interested in a career in law enforcement.
In 2006, Kimberly became a deputy sheriff with the SBSO, and spent the first five years of her career as a deputy assigned to the Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center. She then transferred to Central Station as a patrol deputy, where she worked for 5 years. Kimberly is currently assigned to court services as a bailiff. As a patrol deputy, Kimberly has seen some of the worst situations a person can be exposed to, and as such, it has become her goal to teach today’s youth how to thrive as individuals and have a positive impact on others. As such, she was a natural selection as Treasurer, where she heads the committee to gather funding for our philanthropic needs.
