Katie Mendonca- Before serving as president during 2019-2021 years, Katie served two terms as the Vice President of Events, and one term in the board position as a Director-At-Large, which she has returned to.
Katie has been very active in Belles events, and is a go-to member. Katie proudly serves and protects as a Riverside Police Officer, and has since 2002. She began her career as a police explorer in high school, and then joined Riverside PD as a cadet in college. She was been on patrol for 16 years, with special assignments as the Youth Court Coordinator, she is currently working as a detective in the Economic Crimes Unit. Additional collateral assignments of Katie’s include: Honor Guard, Mobile Field Force, Field Training Officer, and Mentor. Katie has also played receiver for the Riverside Police Pistols, a female charity football team. She is the single mom of a 16 year-old boy, and two dachshunds. Katie is actively involved in community events and is proud to be one of the active female law enforcement officers on your Belles Board ofDirectors.
