Katie Cappuccio honorably served as a sworn Police Officer at a Southern California law enforcement agency for over a decade. She comes from a large law enforcement family–that together has served for more than 150 years–and has three brothers who currently serve at LAPD. Katie has always been passionate about law enforcement wellness and supporting others; she was responsible for establishing a department-wide Peer Support Team and served as Peer Support Coordinator for many years–coordinating and leading critical incident debriefs, preparing wellness packages for officers/dispatchers in need, and ensuring department personnel had access to mental health resources. Katie was also instrumental in establishing Women Leaders in Law Enforcement–So Cal, where she served as a Board Member and Treasurer.
Currently, Katie is a state licensed Private Investigator, works as a paralegal/investigator at Castillo Harper, APC, and is an Adjunct Faculty member at Fullerton College where she teaches courses in Administration of Justice. State University, San Bernardino.
Katie enjoys planning the annual Blue Ribbon Breakfast, hosted by the Inland Empire Blue Belles, where law enforcement officers from the Inland Empire are recognized for their hard work and dedication to the community and profession. In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with family, attending her children’s sporting events, going to the beach, and cooking.
